Cucumber Dill Salad
 
My boyfriend gave me Jamie’s Great Britain book as a Christmas gift. I love the book! The layout and photos are beautiful. I even like the rustic feeling of the paper. I got to stare at the book for numbers of occasions, but I haven’t tried any recipes until recently.
 
相方ちゃんが新しいジェイミーオリバーの本 Jamie’s Great Britain をクリスマスにくれました。レイアウトがすっきりしててかわいくて、写真もきれいで気に入ってます♪ 紙の質もマットで素朴な感じ。この本は何回も眺めてみては楽しんでいるけど、実際にはレシピは試したことがなかった!
 
I like his recipes, but some are a little bit too complicated for me… and I was looking for a very simple recipe. This is it!!! So simple and delicious. Cucumber and dill are great combo ;)
 
ジェイミーのレシピ好きだけど、私には作るのが難しかったり馴染みの無い素材だったり。だから簡単なレシピを探してたの。あった!これこれ!!!すぐできておいしい。きゅうりとディルがよくマッチしてます。ディル大好き☆
 
Pickly Cucumber and Red Onion Salad with Loads of Dill (Recipe by Jamie Oliver)
Scratch a fork down and all around the length of a cucumber, then slice it on an angle into 1cm slices and put the slices into a bowl. Grate over half a peeled red onion, using the coarse side of a box grater. Add a few generous splashes of white wine vinegar and pinch or two of sea salt. Pick and roughly chop a very small bunch of fresh dill and sprinkle over. Leave for about 30 minutes to get cold and to marinate, if you can, before serving with a drizzle of rapeseed/extra virgin olive oil, to intensify the pickled flavors.
 
きゅうりとディルのサラダ (レシピ:ジェイミーオリバー)
きゅうりの皮にフォークで模様 (上から下に皮を裂く感じ) を入れ、1cmほどの薄さにななめにスライスしてボウルに入れる。紫オニオンを半分に切って皮をむいて、おろし器の荒い目ですりおろす。白ワインビネガーを2,3回多めにふりかけ、塩を2つかみ入れる。ディルを1にぎり分くらい荒めに切って全体にふりかける。30分くらい冷蔵庫で冷やしておく。食べる前にオリーブオイルをかけて召し上がれ♪
